KURZ’s goal is the circular economy. That’s why we’ve always worked on optimizing and further developing our solutions in this regard. For our customers, this means careful and responsible use of our natural resources, top quality, and extremely efficient processes.
We generate our own energy wherever possible and work with uniform environmental standards worldwide that meet far more than the legal requirements. With minimal use of materials, we achieve maximum quality and durability with our thin films, both indoors and outdoors.
Our decorations maintain the recyclability of the components and are also recyclable themselves. With KURZ, you have a reliable partner at your side, from the initial idea to the final result. We create fantastic surface designs based on renewable raw materials and CO2-reducing, efficient processes. Our expertise is your competitive advantage!

Sustainability is part of the design concept here. The idea is based on our society’s need for peace, safety, and security in today’s world. The designs are made from post-consumer and post industrial recyclates and biopolymers. Natural colors such as turmeric or beetroot are also used. The design concept features fluid, calm, organic shapes paired with a fantastic feel. A well-thought-out concept that we will be presenting for the first time at K.
Our Visionary Designers from all over the world have collaborated on these ideas. Structures that in the broadest sense are reminiscent of wood, with plenty of room for interpretation on the part of the viewer. It’s high time to set new standards. Enter the Visionary Space at K – KURZ Stand A19, Hall 5!
Discover how the post-industrial recyclate RECOPOUND® enables the sustainable recycling of PET carrier residues.Be there live when a watering can made of its proprietary RECOPOUND® material directly in the hot-stamping process with a BECORUN machine from the KURZ subsidiary BAIER is decorated.
KURZ has long been concerned with the question of how PET carriers can be reused. This material is ideal for robust products in various industries. The plastics specialist finally found the answer to this question: RECOPOUND®. KURZ takes the PET carrier material back from its customers and processes it further. The recyclability of the components is maintained. A further advantage is that customers save up to 40% CO2.
On a machine specially developed for this process, a stable transport box made of RECOPOUND® material is created in a fully automatic injection-molding process. It is then decorated with a metallic logo on a machine from KURZ subsidiary BAIER. Visitors can see for themselves that the recycled material can be refined just as individually and at the same high quality as new material. Experience it first-hand at the stand of our development partner DECKERFORM, Hall 13, Stand B77
Here you can see two economic processes from KURZ: At the stand of our partner ARBURG, components of a toolbox, partly made of RECOPOUND® material, are refined using the insert-molding process. It is particularly suitable for decorating heavily deformed components. In the next step, the lid is finished with a brushed and metallized ARBURG logo using the hot-stamping process.
